Get unbanned on Counter strike online - Using fake steam-id

This post is for the servers that use steam-id generation to identify players. Things to know before reading this post,

    1) I have tried it, and it worked

    2) I have tried it only in my broadband (Alliance) and in Non-steam CS 1.6  (p48) but I am pretty sure it will work on others.

    3) You may need to change your IP because sometimes the DSL broadbands block the ip too. Which in case you have to "hack" a few account username/passwords to use a different account, which I am not going to post, atleast not yet.

Things You Need :  1) Cheat Engine . Download Now
                                 2) CS (duhh!)
                                 3) Your Steam ID....

Heres how to do it...

•  First get the steam-id : It will look something like this
                                     STEAM_0:0:1028240912

 

• You can type "status" in console (press ~ ) while ONLINE on the server to get it. Or you can see the ban info in your console to identify it.
•  Open the CS , try to join (obviously you will fail). But DONOT turn off CS.
  It has to be turned on (Adult reference :) )
• What we need is the code after STEAM_0:0: which is 1028240912
• Now install Cheat-Engine , Open the process using the "comp" icon, locate "hl", you know the logo! and OPEN!

 

• Now , just put the code (your code) in the text area just like in the images and click "first scan".
  
    
  
• You will get the data on the left side --> Right Click --> Change the value --> Put any code with THE SAME LENGTH. (pss! just change a single digit)
  
     
  
  
      
  
  
  
  
• Now your steam id has changed....

1- Run the downloaded file in Administer mode ie. "Run As Administer". This is compulsory.
2- Goto "MTU/Latency" tab.

3- Click on "Largest MTU" and see the data in "You can set your MTU to ***".

   In my case its 1500, could be the same as yours..

4- Then go to the "General settings" tab again. Click on "Custom" in the bottom right corner and set your MTU value to 1500.

  Please note, it could already be set to 1500. You could also change your connection speed to the one you have.

5- Then click on "Apply changes" --> ok.

  It would ask you to reboot , which is necessary. After the reboot your connections will be optimized.
